About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager Compliance (all genders) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This is a critical role that will require strong management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Suitable candidates are self-starters who feel comfortable in a dynamic team, can familiarize themselves quickly with new topics, and understand how to set priorities. 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive company-wide compliance program. that includes policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (tax / charitable law, legal)
  • Perform analysis of regulatory requirements on an ongoing basis
  • Provide advice on day-to-day compliance matters across the company
  • Perform compliance risk-assessment specific to the company and its affiliates 
  • Provide compliance training and guidance to staff 
  • Support or lead investigations into potential compliance violations 
  • Prepare reports on compliance activities for management 
  • Collaborate with other teams in gathering and reviewing information for compliance purposes


Required background & competencies for success in this role: 

  • Academic degree in business, law, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a compliance role
  • Experience in drafting compliance policies and procedures, manuals, alerts and updates
  • Experience with setup and roll-out of a comprehensive compliance management system is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in German and English
