Engagement Manager Industry Partnerships (m/f/x)
The position is permanent and full-time.
On our mission to drive impact to society with our research and teaching, we want to build and foster a strong network of industry partners to support our students and faculty. This position will support the Head of Industry Partnerships in creating meaningful interactions on and off campus and crafting the future of HPI industry partnership experience.
Key job responsibilities
This role requires an individual who enjoys working with external partners and internal stakeholders, who moves fast and is service-oriented to offer a powerful and ever-evolving relationship management at HPI. As the core of the role is growing and maintaining longlasting partnerships with industry partners, successful candidates are willing to initiate and push forward industry engagement as member of the HPI partnerships team. Basic Qualifications
- Completed commercial training/or a university degree
- Professional working experience in customer relationship management, marketing, sales, business development or projectmanagement
- Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Personal initiative, flexibility, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work across functions
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at different levels
- Ability to manage own work with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong track record as partner- / key account manager with experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships, identifying potential partners, negotiating contracts, managing ongoing relationships, deal negotiation, joint marketing and sales initiatives
- Experience in performance tracking
- Knowledge of the industry and academic ladscape
- Hands-on experience with events management
- Ability to find common ground and win support
