Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/x) - Systems Cluster

 

This full-time position is available immediately for 36 months at HPI in Potsdam. Sponsorship for a work visa can be provided. The salary is 72k€ per year.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to conduct cutting-edge research in computer science with a strong engineering focus. 

 

Your future tasks

 

  • Setting up your own research agenda in areas related to the Systems Cluster, collaborating with cluster members and our international partners
  • Pursuing independent research leading to publications in top venues
  • Mentoring doctoral and master’s students
  • Co-organizing internal and external workshops
  • Transferring research findings to industry and the general public
  • Drafting project proposals
  • Contributing to the cluster teaching activities (4 SWS)
     

Your qualifications

 

  • Hold, or be near completion of a doctoral degree in computer science or a related field
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English. The working language is English; German language skills are desirable, but not necessary
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Research experience in a relevant area and publications appropriate to the candidate’s career stage, preferably in high-impact channels
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • An ideal candidate’s research agenda intersects with or complements multiple research groups of the Systems Cluster at HPI
