Two Postdoctoral Researchers (m/f/x) - Systems Cluster

 

​The position is temporary and full-time.

 

The Systems Cluster at the Hasso Plattner Institute is currently seeking to fill two postdoctoral research positions and is inviting applications from excellent candidates. These full-time positions are available immediately for 36 months at HPI in Potsdam. Sponsorship for a work visa can be provided. The salary is 72k€ per year. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to conduct cutting-edge research in computer science with a strong engineering focus. The successful candidates are expected to collaborate with other researchers in the Systems Cluster and set their own research agendas in the following and related areas:

 

  • Computer Architecture
  • Process Mining
  • Distributed Systems
  • Data Centers
  • Software Quality and Testing

 

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Hold, or be near completion of a doctoral degree in computer science or a related field
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English. The working language is English; German language skills are desirable, but not necessary
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Research experience in a relevant area and publications appropriate to the candidate’s career stage
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • An ideal candidate’s research agenda intersects with or complements multiple research groups at HPI
