Program Manager - Administration (Academic Partnerships) (m/f/x)
The position is temporary for 2 years and full-time.
HPI is looking to expand its partnership-network and intensify and scale-up its research collaborations and student exchanges with our existing academic partners (Stanford University, MIT, UCI). To facilitate this we are seeking a Program Manager to join Academic Partnerships Team.
This role is central to maintaining and strengthening HPI's prestigious international research collaborations. The position requires a well-organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting international research collaborations, establishing and optimising adminsitrative processes and developing mechanisms to collect and analyse data.
Your Future Responsibilities
- Managing, in collaboration with HPI international partners, annual program reporting for research partnerships
- Managing the full lifecycle of the research projects within our partnership programs, from the call for application, project set-up to progress monitoring and coordination of project reporting (including financial reporting)
- Establishing mechanisms for collecting, tracking and analysing data to monitor progress of joint research projects and programs
- Setting up and coordinating research internship programs with leading international academic institutions (e.g., MIT)
- Managing administration of the HPI’s contingent of visitors’ apartments
- Preparing relevant information about programs/projects for the website and ensure the accuracy of website information
- Organising HPI research workshops with the international partner institutions
Qualifications
- Professional working experience in managing research projects, including monitoring budgets and preparing financial reports
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and program evaluation
- Excellent organizational abilities with demonstrated success in event planning and workshop coordination
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)
- Intercultural communication skills and experience working in international environments
- Experience communicating with scientific and government stakeholders at different levels
