Student Assistant (m/f/x) HPI Career Service

 

 

​The position is temporary and part-time

(min. 15 hrs/week, flexible schedule by mutual agreement).

 

 

To meet the diverse career aspirations of HPI students & early career researchers – ranging from academia and industry to entrepreneurship and public sector – HPI is establishing a centralized Career Service. This initiative aims to bring together all career-related offerings at HPI into one strategic platform, serving as a bridge between students, researchers, academic institutions, industry partners, and alumni.

 

 

Making an impact from day one


Want to do more than just observe? You’ll be right in the middle of it: supporting students on their career journey and helping build something new from the ground up. We’re looking for a working student to join our team at HPI in Potsdam for at least 15 hours per week – starting as soon as possible.

 

 

What to expect

 

  • Supporting the setup and development of the new Career Service Center – you'll help shape something from the ground up
  • Managing job portal postings and keeping website and Confluence content up to date
  • Conducting research on companies, internship opportunities, and job market trends
  • Organizing and promoting events, workshops, and fairs for HPI students and researchers
  • Creating information materials in both print and digital formats
  • Handling administrative tasks: scheduling, correspondence, and documentation for the Career Service team

 

 

What would impress us about you

 

  • You like getting things done: organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team (we love teamplayers)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program – any field welcome, but interest in people, education, or organizations is a plus
  • Quick to pick up new digital tools – knowledge of AI tools, Confluence, or Canva is a plus
  • You enjoy communicating with different people and know how to be clear and professional
  • Fluent in English (C1 or above) and German at minimum B2 level. Both languages are used regularly in communication with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Genuine interest in career development and higher education? Even better.
